Born in Budapest, Hungary, Mate has spent the majority of his adult life living across the world before settling on the Costa del Sol in 2011 — giving him both an international perspective and the kind of deep local knowledge that only comes from genuinely calling a place home. He brings over eight years of sales experience and more than five years specialising in real estate to his role at Mojo Estates, which he joined in January 2026. Fluent in Hungarian, English, and Spanish, Mate connects naturally with the diverse international clientele that defines the Costa del Sol market. His passion for life on the coast — and for sharing it with people who are discovering it for the first time — is what drives him every day.
