House of Mojo SL and Martin Norrbom today announce that Norrbom Marketing SL — the Costa del Sol’s biggest magazine publisher and the company behind La Danesa, En Sueco, and Det Norske Magasinet — becomes Mojo Media SL, the seventh operating company in the House of Mojo family and the group’s new “Living” pillar. Effective July 2026.
The magazines keep their names, their editorial focus, and their national voice. Martin Norrbom continues as Editor-in-Chief through 2026, ensuring a careful and steady transition for the editorial team, the advertisers, and the +700,000 readers across print, digital, and newsletter who follow La Danesa, En Sueco, and Det Norske Magasinet every year. A carefully planned editorial succession will follow, with Martin’s continued support and the full editorial team in place throughout.
The transaction completes House of Mojo’s vertical integration. The group now spans premium real estate, real co-ownership, capital trusts, holiday and short-term rentals, property cleaning and laundry, finance, legal, design and architecture — and now media and audience. House of Mojo is the only group on the coast with a fully in-house value chain across every part of premium living, now including the editorial voice of the community itself.
“Today, House of Mojo welcomes +700,000 readers, the Costa del Sol’s biggest magazine publisher, and the most trusted Scandinavian editorial voice on the coast into our family. We did not enter publishing to participate. We are here to lead — across new languages, a bold new editorial design, a weekly video podcast, and a Living membership that turns trusted magazines into a trusted concierge, member benefits, and a voucher shop for the people who already rely on these publications. Three of the coast’s most loved magazines are now backed by the capital, infrastructure, and ambition of Spain’s only property, investment and lifestyle group with every discipline under one roof.”
— Per Moensted, CEO & Co-founder, House of Mojo
For Martin Norrbom, the moment marks the culmination of more than three decades of work and the beginning of a careful succession.
“For over 37 years I have had the privilege of publishing thousands of stories of Costa del Sol life — work I am proud of, with editorial teams I trust completely. Finding the right home for that work was one of the most important decisions of my career. In House of Mojo I found Per Moensted and his team of partners who understand what the magazines mean to readers, to advertisers, and to the community. The commitment to preserve everything we have built, while investing in its future, is the reason this is the right partnership at the right time.”
— Martin Norrbom, Founder & Editor-in-Chief, Norrbom Marketing (now Mojo Media)
What Continues
- The magazines keep their names. La Danesa, En Sueco and Det Norske Magasinet remain three publications, with three editorial voices, in three Scandinavian languages.
- National focus remains. Each magazine continues to serve its specific community on the Costa del Sol — in Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian respectively.
- Editorial continuity. Martin Norrbom continues as Editor-in-Chief through 2026, with a carefully planned succession to follow — the editorial team continues throughout.
- The team continues. All editorial, production, distribution, and commercial functions transfer with the company.
- Advertisers’ agreements continue unchanged. All commercial commitments are honoured and extended without disruption. The dedicated commercial team remains in place.
- Subscribers’ access continues uninterrupted across print, digital, and newsletter.
What Evolves
House of Mojo is committing significant capital and operational support to expand what has been built — across editorial, design, languages, and the reader experience itself.
- Editorial & design. A deeper editorial commitment across the topics that define life on the Costa del Sol — news, lifestyle, health, sport, food, property, and business — with more reporting capacity, more in-depth features, a growing network of dedicated journalists, and a weekly video podcast produced in House of Mojo’s in-house green-screen studio. A bold new editorial design launches from November 2026.
- Living membership — concierge & benefits. Mojo Media becomes the group’s “Living” pillar: a Mojo Concierge service for paying members, a member network with benefits and discounts from selected advertisers, and a voucher shop offering preferred rates at restaurants, services, and lifestyle partners across the coast. Built on the trusted advertiser relationships of 37+ years — from trusted magazine to trusted membership.
- English edition from 2027. House of Mojo will launch an English-language edition from January 2027 for the broader expatriate community on the Costa del Sol, and will assess further languages over time.
- Deeper coverage of the whole coast. Continued investment across the +200 distribution points that carry the magazines from Almuñécar to Manilva — deeper reach and richer editorial across the Costa del Sol these magazines have served for a generation.
What House of Mojo Acquired
The Costa del Sol’s biggest magazine publisher, at a glance:
- Three monthly magazines — La Danesa (Danish), En Sueco (Swedish), Det Norske Magasinet (Norwegian)
- +33 printed editions per year
- +150,000 copies distributed annually
- +700,000 readers across print, digital, and newsletter
- +8,000 active newsletter subscribers
- +2,500 paying digital subscribers across Danesa Plus, Sueco Plus and Norske Plus
- +200 distribution points across the Costa del Sol, from Almuñécar to Manilva
- 37+ years of editorial credibility, with some advertiser relationships unbroken for more than 15 years
More than the numbers, the acquisition brings into the House of Mojo group three magazines that have shaped what Scandinavian life on the Costa del Sol looks like — publications that arrive in homes, restaurants, clinics, golf clubs, and Scandinavian associations across the coast all year round.
A Home for Everyone Who Loves the Costa del Sol
House of Mojo was built on a simple thesis: the Costa del Sol deserves a place that feels like home — one that supports every step of arriving, settling, and living well on the coast. It starts with legal, finance, and tax: the in-house consultants who guide every client across borders, jurisdictions, and life decisions. From there: buying a property. Choosing real co-ownership. Renting a holiday villa. Keeping it cared for. Investing alongside it through capital trusts. And, now, being part of the community around it.
With Mojo Media now part of the family, the house extends into media and community — not as a marketing channel, but as the independent editorial voice of the coast itself. Three magazines that for over a generation have told the stories of Scandinavians on the Costa del Sol, now positioned to tell the story of everyone who chooses this place to live, work, invest, holiday, and belong.
For the editorial team: thank you. Your editorial independence is non-negotiable, and your role in shaping the next chapter is central.
